NAB has been pursuing ‘Netra Jyoti Suraksha programme’ since last over 34 years, to cater the need of
Eye Checkup of school going children and to advise the guardians about any deficiency prevailing in the eyes of their ward so that timely treatment can be taken up. This work could not progress in Corona period. Now the work has been restarted on this project with new theme “Prevention of Blindness”. To execute this NAB has set up an ‘Eye Hospital’ on 14th May 2022 with the main assistance by “Kewal Prem Foundation”, with latest equipments.The OPD fee is just Rs.10/- per patient. The cataract operations with Non Foldable lens are done free of cost. The performance of the hospital during 14.5.2022 to 31.3.2023 (being 10.5 Months) is given below:-
